Early in the 17th centuries, western thinkers of modern education had already put forward the idea of equal education. And our constitution explicitly stipulates that every citizen enjoys the equal right to accept education, emphasizing the equal educational opportunity to everyone. However, considering that China is a country with tremendously-unbalanced economic developments at different regions,it is inevitably for people to suffer inequality in their education,which can be reflected from several aspects.

Next,from the aspect of accessible educational resources.It is well known that there are enormous gaps between the students of poverty-stricken areas and those of metropolis in quantity and quality. While the children at less-developed areas are sitting in the dangerous classrooms, using the old desk, listening to bad mandarin spoken by teachers in class, the children at developed regions are enjoying bright and spacious classrooms, advanced education equipment and learned teachers with a good command of teaching skills.Thus, in the light of this point,it is apparently that children's starting point of education are not equal.
