The differences between city life and country life
Many years ago, people dreamed to live in the city where the life is colorful. They think the attracting thing of city life lies in that people will find the chance to get succeed. However, now people seem to prefer the country life that has the quiet and clean environment. Then, city life and country life, which is better?
First, in country life, what attracted people most is the clean atmosphere and the gentle pace of life. People live in country are able to be exposed to nature, such as fresh air, green trees, mountains and streams. All of these can make people happy and stir up the love of life in their deep hearts. However, the life in the city is quite different from life in the country. People living in the city are constantly exposed to the hustle and bustle of urban life. They have to worry about their health and have no choice but accept this. Besides, we all know that people in the city have to rush to their work everyday and become exhausted after long working days, while people in the country seem to have more freedom. They do not work for the severe boss but themselves. They could ride horses along a brook, do some farm work and so on.
Second, in spite of the disadvantages of the city life, it still has many advantages. The city life is usually more convenience and has more entertainment for people. Unlike the city , the country has no big supermarket or specialty store in which we can buy anything we want. What’s more, the city has many entertainment which is far more than these of country. Contrary to country, the city has cinemas, gymnasiums,museums,and so on.
In spite of these differences, the similarities are striding. The life in the city and in the country are the same in that people both try their best to live better. They both have their work life and leisure life.
In conclusion, the city life and country life both have their advantages and disadvantages. You can choice the life you want.
