Nanjing and Luoyang are two cities with both similarities and differences. They are two of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China with a long history of civilization and glorious city construction. Therefore, both of them have a rich tourism resource. It is known that they are famous for their city flowers, plum blossom of Nanjing and peony of Luoyang. However, they have various differences as well. Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu province located in the lower Yangzte River. It has long been a national center of economy, education, research, transport networks and tourism, holding an important status in China. The summer is very hot and muggy while the winter is cold and damp, and in between, spring and autumn are of reasonable length. In comparison with Nanjing, Luoyang is a prefecture-level city in western Henan province of Central China. As its name states, the Old Town of Luoyang is located on the north bank of Luo River, a southern tributary of the middle reaches of the Yellow River.The history of Luoyang is brilliant and it is one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. The four seasons are distinct here and the climate is more comfortable than that of Nanjing.
