Today, we are living a fast-paced and busy life, called modern life. It is totally different from that in the past, which is relatively primitive. Actually, I prefer the “primitive life”, which seems to be joyful and warm.
In the past, things were simple. Computers had not been widespread and the family was thought to be rich if they had a television with a DVD. Children played games with their childhood friends after school. The big family would be together from grandparents to grandchildren during the traditional holidays, laughing and chatting to dawn. At that time, few people trended to kill themselves or be depressed easily. Life was slow and easy.
Nowadays, things are different. As the technology developed and the population increases, the pace of life becomes faster and faster. People sit before computers to control most things. Children are absorbed in the Internet to explore a new world with less face-to-face communication. Relationship between people becomes fragile, just like a glass vase. During the holiday, with less people and less laughter, the house is not so hot anymore . Time is always not enough for things are always followed one by one. Maybe that is why there are more and more people having a mental disease. Life is always in a hurry.
If I can choose, I will definitely take up the “primitive life”, even though there will not be so many convenient technologies but I can hold more meaningful memories in my mind.
