The Differences between my Hometown and Nanjing
I am from Bengbu –a small but easeful city. My second hometown in my opinion is Nanjing in which I am studying. Of course, sometimes I will make a contrast between them and I even have considered where I should stay after graduation.
The most obvious difference is city size. Nanjing is the provincial capital. It also has a large land area but as far as I am concerned, the large land area sometimes will lead to the trouble. Perhaps everyone has met this kind of situation where you prepared to go shopping but when you got the downtown area, you felt that had passed nearly one century for you to went there and you were almost exhausted. On the contrary, if you are in Bengbu, it will not be trouble at all and there is no need to take buses if you are not in an emergency.
Nevertheless Nanjing is more convenient. Nanjing’s transportation system is perfect. It has several kinds of transports such as bus, taxi, and metro. The metros run about 5:40 am to midnight both in urban and rural. But I must go home before 9:00 pm otherwise I have to take a taxi. So to some extent Nanjing is more convenient than my hometown.
There is a part of differences between Nanjing and my hometown. What about yours?
