South VS North
As a northerner who has been living in Xinjiang for more than ten years, I have found many differences between Nanjing and my hometown. Some of them are quite interesting.
First, the most obvious difference is the climate. In summer, it is always muggy and wet in Nanjing, the weather makes me feel hard to breath. I would sweat even I am till, and my body is always wet just like having a shower. While, in Xinjiang, it is hot but dry, the wind would take the sweat away so that I feel cool and comfortable all the time. In winter, I feel colder in Nanjing even though it is 20℃ higher than Xinjiang, the raw wind would pierce my thick clothes and touch my skin, my bone. What’s more, even I stay insides the house, I feel no difference in the outside. Whereas in Xinjiang, there are heating installations in every room. Snowing outsides, spring insides. Besides, lower temperature does not need more clothes than south. What pleasant climate it is ! It has been confused me till today that why many people believe the south is more fitting to live, for as far as I am concerned, the natural condition of south is not comparable to north.
Second, it is about meals. In Nanjing, the restaurants are open only in meal hours, once the meal hours pass, they refuse to do business. That is strange to me. In my hometown, we can always get our meals during the day. As for dishes, our northerners are more generous and substantial, most dishes are served in big plates. While the entree in south looks like a desert.
Obviously, I still insist that the north is more fitting to live.

I would sweat even I am till, 什么是till？拼写错误吧。and my body is always wet just like having a shower.可以说I am drenched in sweat and my clothes stick to wet spots to my body， like having had a shower. 另外the raw wind would pierce my thick clothes and touch my skin，好像没有raw wind这种表达吧，可以说chilly wind，pierce可以换成slice into，touch换成cut，这样可以显得更冷。we can always get our meals during the day，during the day换成all day long或者around the clock或者24/7。
