Watching films and reading books
There are various alternatives for you to relax after the-whole-day hard work. You can pick up a book and read it in a window seat under the sunshine. With a popcorn in the hands, watching a good film is certainly a best choice, especially for those people whose lives are occupied by work. Admittedly, there are many striking similarities and differences between them.
First, whether reading or watching, both they can capture your imagination. While you are reading a book, you are imaging these characters, their appearances and their clothes. What’s more, sometimes, you will see yourself as the main protagonist, get inside the character and eager to know and guess how the story will develop. Likewise, you can also imagine the development when you enjoy a film. However, it can’t give a free rein to your imagination. Unlike books, you have no choice but accept what movies offer you.
Second, watching, corresponding to reading, can broaden your mind. The difference lying in them is that you can watch movies as a more casual method. Facing a serious book, you must straighten out your clothes and sit up straight to read.
Personally, i side with reading books, for it can allow me use my imagination and get inside the character.
