The difference between urban life and rural life
` Urban life differs a lot from rural life in many ways.
Our first expression towards urban life is quick fix and great stress and rural life slow pace and ease. Urban residents are forced to move forward quickly by extremely heated competition and heavy stress at work. Many of them can hardly afford the price of house and daily goods, so they have to move quicker and more efficient than others, so that they can get a better life. Whereas, agriculture is the main job from people in rural area and they have the housing inheriting from generation to generation, food from cultivation, thus they feel less competitive and stressed. With slow pace, they can still live a comfortable life of their own will.
Besides, citizens in urban suffer from traffic jam, noisy car whistle, polluted air, narrow house, food unaffordable and gleaming skyscrapers that crowd and jostle the skyline; however, people in rural area enjoy open land, quietness, clean air and water, fresh produce and natural sightseeing.
It seems that rural area is an ideal residence rather than urban area, but urban life priors over rural life in other aspects.
In such an economical society, people need many demands rather than food. More malls and supermarkets locate in urban area. It is more convenient for shopping. Then, infrastructure is well equipped in urban: education, medical treatment, and sanitary equipment, social assurance is better. What’s more, more modernized than rural life, citizens use more equipment of advanced science and technology. Modern kitchen and cooking appliance, washroom and bathroom, and other electrical appliance are widely used in urban but little in rural. Thus, urban life surpasses rural life in this occasion.
In conclusion, urban life and rural life have many differences. They both have strength and weakness, and it is hard to say which life is better. We can only say which one fits us. Therefore, think about their pros and cons and choose one that meets most of our needs.
