My : The swirls of smoke is rising from the little village.
2. fetter n. chain put round the feet of a person or animal to limit movement; thing that restricts or hinders 脚镣,束缚
v. Restrict or hinder in any way 拘束,束缚
Eg: No man love his fetters, be they made of gold.
My: Many people are fettered by desire.
3. entwine v. To twist together,round, or in. 盘绕,使缠绕
Eg: The roots of the grapevine are inextricably entwined with our own.
My: They waited the news entwining their fingers together.
4. stalk v. to walk stiffly, proudly, or with long steps.昂首阔步
Eg: we can say that a man is marching, pacing, patrolling, stalking, striding, treading, tramping, stepping out, prancing, strutting, prowling, plodding, strolling, shuffling, staggering, sidling, trudging, toddling, rambling, roaming, sauntering, meandering, lounging, loitering, or creeping. 我们可以说人在行进,踱步,巡逻,潜近,跨过,践踏,重步走,举步,昂首阔步,高视阔步,徘徊,沉重缓慢地走,漫步,曳足而走,蹒跚而行,侧身而行,跋涉,蹒跚学步,漫游,徜徉,闲逛,信步,闲荡,游荡,蹑足而行。

My: Everyone who attended the farewell meeting had a good time and enjoyed the ephemeral joys.
