老师您好，翻了一下其他同学的作文并看了老师的评价，我很惭愧，于是重新写了一篇不同的作文，望老师见谅，老师您辛苦了！！
In different people’s eyes, I am different. However, I have three characters that people around me mention about mostly.
The first character is that I am hard-working. I’ve been asked many times whether I feel sleepy since I usually sleep less than most of the others. And my friend Jiang once said that my dormitory is just like a hotel for me because I always stay at teaching buildings or libraries.
The second character is that I am quiet. I’ve heard many teachers and classmates mentioned that. Some persuaded me to be more outgoing because English major students should talk more and practice more, and others consoled me that this character may help me save more time to focus on my study or work.
The third character is that I seems solemn. One interesting thing about this character is that my roommates once told me that I seemed so solemn even when I was watching American TV shows. Besides, when we were preparing an English drama about an American story after World War Ⅱ for next day’s class performance, My classmates joked that I was the best choice to perform the police because I looked a little stern.
What I said above are my obvious characters. Certainly, I have heard other evaluations about me. Not only have I heard praises but also I have heard criticisms. Praises make me realize my strong points and encourage me to keep these good characters, while criticisms let me know what I should do to improve myself. In addition, others may overestimated or even misunderstood me occasionally, however, I know who I really am and what I should do next. Sometimes, I felt ashamed because I was not so good as others said, while sometimes, I might think that I was wronged and he or she did not see me. But I know that, for me, overestimates will always make me want to be a better person and misunderstandings will always let me introspect myself and find my weakness.
All in all, I like hearing about what I am like in the other people’s eyes and this makes me know myself better.
