Me in the eyes of others
My classmates of previous class called me “businesswoman”. It really began when I recommended myself in an oral English class that I wanted to be a businesswoman in the future. However, they called me “businesswoman” for both my recommendation and my character.
In their eyes, I am ambitious. Just like the businesswoman pursues business career prosperity persistently, I pursue self-improvement now, and later an international trader, further later a businesswoman. I know what I want to be and perpetuate to pursue it. You can describe me as persevering yet stubborn.
In their eyes, I am hard-working. I am not as talented as my classmates in learning language. Although lagging behind others, I will devote myself to study English, especially listening and speaking, to catch up with others. Maybe deep in my heart, I hate falling behind others, thus my ambitions drives me to strain towards improvement. I can endure the long-time and dull exercises.
In their eyes, I am out-going and energetic. I behave and address as if I were lighted by candles. Every semester, we have to deliver presentations. Comments from my tutors and classmates are nothing but too enthusiastic. Sometimes I review myself as much too energetic to a certain extreme which is out of control. I really should confine myself and behave properly.
I am glad that they called me “businesswoman”. They did it because they found me some quality of businesswoman. What I am in other people’s eyes are often some typical characters, which make us instinctive from others. It is generally acknowledge that others know better about us than ourselves. However, there are some virtues that we are not too often to be exposed to others, even our intimate friends. Therefore, we know ourselves better than others; others can not see my whole character, but see part of my character, especially the most instinctive ones.
