Me in the eyes of other people
You will hear my name at first when there is something wrong in my dormitory. Once the computer breaks down, call me; the water pipe jams, call me; the chain of bicycle is off, call me; even the bottle cannot be opened, call me also. My roommates have ever said to me, “You know, you are really a boyish girl, not your looking, but your inside.” Of course I know. And the probable reason is that my father likes boy.
It is well known that my father likes boy. Part of because boy can carry on the family line, part of because boy is much stronger than girl, physically and psychologically. Though I cannot change my gender, I can develop my boyish character. As a result, I prefer pliers to needle, which makes me an approved repairman in our dormitory. Everyone likes to call me to help them.
When others call me to help, I will never refuse them, even though it is a little difficult for me to do it. And that is my another distinct character, my friends call it “kind”. I know it is very arrogant if it is said from my mouth, but it is true. One of my best friends has asked me, “Can’t you refuse others?” And my answer is “No, I can’t.” I cannot refuse others or I dare not refuse others. I always afraid if I turn down to them, they will not love me. I am fear that I turn into a cold person. When I told all of my thinking to my friend, she said that I thought too much. Yes, thinking too much----the third character of mine in my friends’ eyes.
Thinking too much is not equal to considerate. Actually, it is not a good character. If you think too much, you will have trouble to make any decision, just like me. Most of my friends are not fond of shopping with me. They think it is “too tired”, because I could not choose one product easily, especially clothes, which causes a never-ending stroll around the shopping mall.
Besides thinking too much, I also have many other shortcomings. I am not a perfect girl. However, my friends said, they would never forget they had a friend as me.

很喜欢这种略有自嘲的风格，我倒是觉得从名字开始会更好，解释一下名字的含义和由来，之后再用第一段的几个例子，这样可能读起来会更流畅。“It is well known that my father likes boy.”换种说法可以是My father never hides his preference for boys. 另外"When others call me to help"，这里ask for或者turn to me for help更恰当些。最后，"They think it is “too tired"，那我们不妨试试把shopping比做Long March，或者说这是一件labor-consuming and time-costing work。同样的表达，自己尽量多想一下有没有其它的选择，写作就会逐渐提高的，请继续努力。
