Me in the Eyes of Other People
William Shakespeare once said, “ There will be a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people’s eyes”, which indicates a profound and absolute principle that everyone holds diverse views on the same subject owing to their different life experiences and social identities. As a consequence, I spontaneously begin to wonder what I would be like in the eyes of people surrounding me, if I were a Hamlet.
First and foremost, I pose this question to my parents; but I get an incredible answer from them. As far as they’re concerned, I am a *** teenager who needs protection and care, despite the fact that I’m already an independent university student at the age of twenty. In addition, they also label me with immaturity. They consider that in most cases, I do many things out of passion and I seldom think twice before acting. Frankly speaking, to some extent, I do not agree with what my parents think of me, because I have grown up and I can be responsible for my life.
Secondly, I proceed to ask my friends, as well as classmates. To my surprise, all of them describe me as an excellent person. The majority takes the view that the most typical feature of me is hardworking and generous, as referred to study and interpersonal relationship, which is beyond my expectation. On the contrary, I do not like study, no to mention study hard. Furthermore, I am exceedingly lazy.
On the whole, my self-image largely differs from what others think of me. As a result, I’m supposed to ponder over what causes the differences and try to demonstrate the real me before others so that they will know me better.

行文比较流畅,思路清晰,语言的运用能力是比较好的,特别是问父母那个句子是个佳句,但细节上还是有些需要注意的地方,比如 They consider that in most cases这个应该是中式表达吧,那可以试试be convinced that ... 啊,all of them describe me as an excellent person,怎么说呢,就是excellent这个词不是很具体,因为它可以体现在任何方面。Furthermore, I am exceedingly lazy.这里似乎递进的关系不是很明显,总结段也写的不错,好评!
