Me in the Eyes of Other People
Many people care the impression they give to other people. But actually we couldn’t know exactly what kind of people we are in the eyes of others. And I am not excepted.
Many people may think l am a little bit shy. But to those I am very familiar with, I am humorous and I always tell different kinds of jokes. In the eyes of my friends, I am happy in most time. Maybe it is because I am positive enough to find interesting things in life. Well, sometimes when I laugh very loudly my friends would turn to me and say there you go again. Sometimes I am very lazy that I just want to lie in my bed and do nothing else, but I would work very hard once I have a goal. Besides, maybe I am very brave to others because there are little things I am afraid of. Every time my friends watch horror movies with me, they would hold my arms tightly. And I enjoy that very much even though sometimes they hurt me. Maybe I am a nice person in the others’ eyes, but I do not assure of that. Because when I do someone a favor, he would like to say it’s very kind of you, which, of course, is just a joke. In fact, I don’t know much how others think of me. They seldom tell me and I also don’t ask them such questions, but I do think it is a good way to know yourself well through someone else’s eyes.
To be honest, I don’t care what I am in the eyes of other people; because I think what is important is to live colorfully. And the best way to
live a colorful life is to be yourself. That is not to say we have reason to be stubborn, and we do need to change ourselves in many situations. But always keep in mind that we change for ourselves not for others.
