Me in the eyes of other people

   To find an answer of “how do I look like in the eyes of other people”, I designedly hand out a questionnaire to my roommates in dormitory. To my surprise, each of them gives me an unique description which impresses me a lot.
   First noun on the paper is “monitor”, which represents that I was the monitor in former class in the years of fresh man and sophomore. In spite of being shameful, I am actually quiet pride of being remembered as the monitor for it gives me confidence that what I have done for the class is meaningful and adorable.
   Then I move to another page and get the first adjective “humorous”, which makes me laugh at that moment because I was famous in “cold joke” when I was in high school. Even in college nowadays I would still manage to look for humorous point in daily life. Do my roommates also find the interest of mine and do appreciate it?
   The third word, which is beyond my expectation, is ”enviable”. Have I done something wrong? Did I gain hates of other people without self-consciousness? Holding countless amount of doubt, I go to find my roommate to help me understand and finally get across seek out the meaning of “enciable of available of going home every week”, and laugh out.
   Those are the description that my roomates give to me. Those are, although just part of, what me like in the eyes of other people. Some of them are within my imagination and some of them are are not instead. However,isn’t the viraity that there are a thousand of Hamlet in the eyes of a thousand readers a universality in human nature?

行文流畅，条理清晰，语法还算符合规范，但搭配有几处错误，另外似乎缺少一些点睛之笔，这样读起来略显平淡。“In spite of being shameful, I am actually quiet pride of being remembered as the monitor”，这里的shameful我不知道是什么原因呢，难道是会被叫做"teachers' pet"，还是其它什么原因？ “Then I move to another page and get the first adjective “humorous”，其实这还是比较偏向中式思维，可以试试unveil，stand out等表达，比口语化的get要好一些。enviable这个词虽然意义上是指“令人羡慕的”，但我觉得好像很少用来形容人，多数都是指物，比如He acquired an enviable reputation for artistic ability.他的艺术才能使他赢得了令人羡慕的声誉。He is in the enviable position of having two job offers to choose from.他有两份工作可选，真让人羡慕。最后Some of them are within my imagination and some of them are are not instead. 这句话应该是自己把中文直接翻译过来的吧，请考虑一下如何更好的用英文表达出来。
