Me in the Eyes of Other People
I have no ideas about what I am like in the eyes of other people.In order to know myself further from different aspects ,I made inquiries of people around me about the views they have about me.Then I got the answers.
In the eyes of my parents,they regard me as a lazy girl,because most of time I spend with my parents is when my vacations come.However,I usually consider my summer or winter vacations as the best time when I can relax myself.So it takes most of my time to watch TV or surf the Internet.Nevertheless,I really share some housework with my mother,so to some extent,I am an obedient child of my parents.What's more,my father is always concerning about my health,and he is not pleased with my weight.Therefore, he often asks me to eat more even when I feel that the food I have swallowed is approaching to my throat.While I think it is natural for a girl to keep fit and I am not skinny at all.At the same time,I am an immature girl in the eyes of my parents not only in appearance but also in my mind.Actually,I am a girl with straight-talking style and accustomed to showing happy or sad expression in my countenance。While my parents view it as an expression of immaturity.I am so upset after getting the answers from my parents because I have never thought that I have so many shortcomings in their eyes. Fortunately,I also have something that pleases my parents.For example,I am so independent that my parents are never obliged to worry about me。I have lived in boarding school since I went to primary school.And at that time,I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself。Finally,I drew a conclusion that my parents have more negative evaluations than positive ones because they hope that I can improve myself constantly and make more and bigger progress.
In the eyes of my friends,I am an outgoing,carefree ,humorous and considerate girl with a little caprice and obstinacy.I always have so much things to tell them that my friends can hardly have chances to express their point of view.I often go my own way with friends as I feel unconstrained and have no pressure.In the eyes of my friends,I take pleasure in caring about others and I am enthusiastic to help people who need help.However,sometimes,I stick to my own points even the wrong ones.
What I show to my parents and friends may not be similar to each other,as I feel more free when talking with friends who have similar ages to me and we have more common topics to share with each other.And only some of my best friends know what I am really like.Although I am always eager to leave a good impression on others,me in the eyes of others is still not the same including good ones or bad ones.Anyhow,thanks to these different views about me,I know what I should persist in and what I have to correct.
