My hometown

My hometown is a typical southern town. It is said that seven streams flow through this town just like seven strings of an instrument. Along one side of the streams are houses with white wall and black roof. The other side is willow trees or other vigorous plants. Most photos of me in my childhood record these lovely, those houses, willow trees, and stone bridges. There is also a hill in this town, called Yu Hill. The old house of my grandparents is just located near the foot of the hill, among a block of old houses.
The old house is a two-floor structure. We just own three rooms in it. Living room, kitchen and bathroom are connected as a whole big downstairs room. Two upstairs are bedrooms. My earliest memory of the old house is the scene that my grandfather was brushing the white paint on the cupboard, and my cousin and I was standing by, looking curiously. The best time when I went back to hometown was staying in the bedroom with my cousin. We played in this space surrounded with several cabinets, desks, miscellaneous objects and a large old-style bed. Although there were no more decorations but some childish pictures on the wall, this room is still warm and happy.
