Watson: What the hell are you doing?!
Sherlock: Bored.
Watson : What?!
Sherlock: Bored! - No...Bored! Bored! Don't know what's got into the criminal classes.
Watson: Good job I'm not one of them. So you take it out on the wall?
Sherlock: The wall had it coming.
Watson: What about that Russian case?
Sherlock: Belarus? Open and shut domestic murder. Not worth my time.
Watson: Oh, shame!
Sherlock: Anything in? I'm starving. Listen. This is my hard drive, and it only makes sense to put things in there that are useful. REALLY useful. Ordinary people fill their heads with all kinds of rubbish. That makes it hard to get at the stuff that matters. Do you see?
Watson: But it's the solar system!
Sherlock: Oh, hell! What does that matter?! So we go round the sun. If we went round the moon, or round and round the garden like a teddy bear, it wouldn't make any difference! All that matters to me is the work! Without that, my brain rots! Put that in your blog! Or, better still, stop inflicting your opinions on the world!
Watson: Where are you going?
Sherlock: Out! I need some air.
This dialogue is obviously showing the subtle and harmonious relationship between Sherlock and Watson. According to their ways of speaking, we can tell that Sherlock is sensitive, talented but too straightforward, he often uses sharp words to bombard others without caring about their feelings. However, Watson is more gentle, polite, and generous, he prefers soft and words to hit the nail on the head. Watson would never say anything hurtful even when Sherlock is *** trouble out of nothing. Just because of this complementary relationship, Watson could be the one staying with Sherlock and bring him out of loneliness and in turn Sherlock opens a new exciting world for Watson.
