discovery of mine?"

"It is interesting, chemically, no doubt," I answered, "but
practically--"

"Why, man, it is the most practical medico-legal discovery for years.
Don't you see that it gives us an infallible test for blood stains.
Come over here now!" He seized me by the coat-sleeve in his
eagerness, and drew me over to the table at which he had been
working. "Let us have some fresh blood," he said.

"Ha! ha!" he cried, clapping his hands, and looking as delighted as a child with a new toy. "What do you think of that?"

"It seems to be a very delicate test," I remarked.



Comments: We can see from the conversation between Sherlock and Watson that the first met of them is strange or we can say that it is a little bit awkward. Sherlock has his own ego but Watson is much more normal and wants to keep up the speed with the quick Sherlock who transfer the topic of the conversation in a flash. What’s more, Sherlock is much more talkative than the doctor who used to follow the army. Sherlock is a man who can always have explosion and suddenly have the idea in the mind but Watson takes a slow life speed after he leave the army. The small fragment shows us two man with different characters then they are going to be the roommates which can arise readers’ interests. This portrait is vivid and obvious.
