The influences of social network services
With the rapid development of all kinds of social network services in recent years, we have witnessed the influences these social network services exerted on our everyday life. These services have became a necessary way for people to communicate with each other, to share informations and ideas,and to create public identities for private citizens. To some extent, they are useful helpers , while sometimes they are so annoying that you wish they were not created in the first place.
The bright side of social network is undeniable. It construct a new communication platform where people from different regions with different backgrounds can enjoy a free talk without any restricts, in this way, it makes the world a more open place. It is also a good way to keep in touch with old friends, for example, I use QQ to talk with my friends all the time, glanced at the pictures they posted in the space and noticed they have changed a lot since we last met or they haven't change at all. And sometimes when I am boring, I will always find something interesting in Micro blog, such as the funny things happened in people's life, or some wise words said by the celebrities. These social network services filled people's spare time. We're not surprised to see people use these services all the time, for example, when they get board while waiting subway or even in classes. This phenomenon leads us to its disadvantages.
The first bad influence is that we spend to much time and energy on these cyberspace will limit our development in the true world. There is picture once I read goes like this: a desperate father talked with his son ,who always sit in front a computer ,through his micro blog, he asked: son, could you please join us in this dinner? So we can see that more time spend on line means less time for our families and friends who are right around us. When we enjoy the benefits of these social network services, we should always remember what is the most important thing in our life, and never get lost in this information sea.
The problem of security is another negative effects of these services. Sometimes we were fooled by phony advertisements on these sites, also we might "meet" bad guys in these websites,especially dangerous for teenage girls. In this aspect, I think parents should educate their children to strengthen their consciousness in protecting themselves since these social network services have become an indispensable way of communication.
To sum up, I think social network services have a positive influence on our everyday life. Those bad aspects can not overweigh the advantages,and we can find a way to cope with them. I am sure these social network can sever our life better in the future as long as we keep the balance between real life and web life.
