SNS has become more than a tool which people use to enhance communication with others.Publicly revealing intimate personal details ,people seem to confide in strangers easily without realizing that SNS is actually an invisible landmine if used improperly.
Oversharing makes people fall victim to malefactors.A piece of news showed that babies can easily be abducted because of the information let out through social networks. Being mothers for the first time ,they would like to take pictures of their babies and share their lives on social networks,which catch the offenders' eyes.By studying babies' lifestyle,they can come off kidnapping the infants easily. Oversharing will let out your personal information which is what the evildoers want ,so you cannot be too careful on social networks.
Improper use of social networks will also destroy your relationship with whom you know.An article "Facebook Is Divorce Lawyer's Best Friend" showed that in 2011,Facebook is cited in 33percentof divorces in the United Kingdom.The most common reason is inappropriate messages to members of the opposite ***.Facebook may be the easiest way to have an affair or flirt with the opposite ***. Intentionally or unintentionally,the private messages with strangers deepen misunderstanding and suspicion between couples which eventually leads to a broken marriage.Although social network is virtual ,inappropriate information can also destroy your relationship with others ,even your life.
SNS is convenient through which we can broaden our horizon;however,is has potential danger which can be easily neglected by us,so the best way for us to do is to be careful about your personal information and have a better understanding of what they can say and what cannot.
