Keeping a clear brain on SNS!
With the great impacts of SNS--social networks services, Facebook, for instance, more and more young adults are willing to publicly announce intimate personal details to the “invisible friends” rather than share with the real ones. And these juveniles tend to believe the less they know the person they are communicating with, the more willing they are to spill. They are also very convinced that there is no one in real life they can pour their heartfelt wishes out to.
I totally agree that their doing so is reasonable to some extent.
They could connect with their friends, share pictures, music and their thoughts. They can get in touch with all kinds of people from various places and chat with them, then they can exchange their ideas. They can as well as keep up to the world and get many current affairs of the society and learn others’ views about the news. Future more, they can participate in some hot topics by themselves.
While, there is no doubt that SNS is not a perfect way to communicate but even has not just a few bad effects.
The young adult firstly coming into contact with social nets, there is too much information for them to read. They don’t really know how to pick up, and can spend much time in glancing over news as well as others’ messages. Therefore, there is a large probability for them to get addicted to it. What’s more, the news showed on SNS is in fact not always true. Some people take advantage of their kindness to cheat or even to hurt them. There is also some bad information, words and videos that are not proper for them. When they are posting their personal messages, they perhaps do harm to other people and put them in a situation of embarrassment. The last but not least important, the SNS is not real. If they keep using SNS as their “talking device”, they will find it difficult for them to communicate in face-to-face situation.
So when they are using SNS next time, they should keep a clear brain on it and do not accept everything.
