Then,why does it become so popular?We can find the reasons from the following advantages it has.First of all,SNS provides a tool of communication with low cost but high efficiency.This kind of communicating channel makes abundant and timely information available for every user,yet what they spend is just a tiny payment of broadband.Second,SNS is an open ,convenient way of connection beneficial to people,esp. to adolescence.SNS,like renren.,QQ,or Weibo is a terrific platform for them to perform their personalities,give out their emotions and speak out their interest pursuits.It’s just an additional way, but also an irreplaceable way to meet their needs.Third,SNS is a modern tool which is able to shorten the distance from person t person.Family members who have been separated by certain affair can go to talk,or even see each other through the social network. Likewise, couples in different areas can also spend a wonderful time together by adding some lubricant in their mutual affections during their separation by contacting on the SNS.Even for those who are unsociable,too introverted to get in touch with others can freely talk to friends via the simple e-mails.

It’s indisputable that SNS is now so important to people.Their benefits acting on every one’s daily life are undeniable.Nevertheless,we also can’t ignore their bad effects .We can deeply feel their power in changing our opinions pertaining to some social controversies.SNS may magnify the bad side of a matter or distort the fact ,and transmit the groundless rumour,which can badlyinfluence a person’s normal life ,even intimidate his/her social reputation and status.This can also enlarge the crowd’s sense of panic that finally will do harm to the social order.On top of that,SNS is also an unsafe way of social communication.An individual’s privacy is easily let out during the virtual social contact.The property,tel number, and permanent address are all likely to be snooped,about which one is usually unconscious.

We all notice the importance and necessity of SNS,but its negative aspects should also be attached particular attention to.It’s required that we continue to strengthen it’s positive functions in our daily lives .Meanwhile,we need to kill the lurking devil.
