Me in The Eyes of Other People
I divide the people I have met in my life into three groups. They are strangers, acquaintances and friends. The most interesting thing is that the "me" in the eyes of one group of people is entirely distinct from that "me" in the eyes of another two. Each group has a typical description about me. This phenomenon arouse my interest to analyze my behaviors towards them.
Strangers—"She is indifferent and too ready to close a communication". This is the evaluation about me from most strangers. They can feel my vigilance during the talk. In fact, they are right. I will be the last person to star a conversation with strangers who I think will have no relationship with me. Comparing with chatting with strangers, risking being cheated, I prefer staying in private room, isolated from the bustle. Even though I am involved in a conversation, I will be a silent listener with stiff smile and nodding.
Acquaintances—"Poker face is her label and you can never overlook the panorama of her brain".
Expressionless is the common expression they can see from my face. Substantially, the acquaintances are my partners of study and work. Therefore, the topics we talk about are relatively serious, which requires me to keep clam and detached. Then the poker face appears. What's more, I compel myself to think further and thoroughly, therefore meditation is necessary. As a result, my acquaintances will puzzle"where has she gone ?"
Friends—"She is the source of energy which will never dry up.Also she can not conceal her feelings ,or she will explode."
My friends have entirely contrary evaluation from the strangers about me . The most significant reason is that I believe them. We have spend a long period of time to construct the firm relationship, and I want to maintain the relationship for my whole life. Therefore, I will do everything I can to retain the freshness of the friendship and never feel exhausted. Also, I know they have the same hopes for our friendships, too. It is precisely because we believe each other that we can share everything, whatever it is, happiness or sadness.
I admit that all of the evaluations are accurate. But I wonder how can strangers become my friends . I shall consider it seriously.

有一些中式表达方式和语法错误,如my behaviors towards them, feel my vigilance, staying in private room。总体来看思路不错,词汇量也够,在细节上希望以后可以有所提高。

记不太清了,好像是那本杂志上的一篇文章,把在一生中人遇见的分成了几类。Life is like a train ride. We get on now. We get off four years later. At certain stops there are surprises. Some of these will translate into great moments of joy; some will result in profound sorrow. There are accidents and there are delays. There are others who board the train and who eventually become very important to us, in turn. These people are our family, friends and acquaintances, whom we will learn to love, respect and cherish on our journey together.1048310 程璐婷 写道:第一句话如有雷同,纯属巧合。。。。。。我写的时候直接蹦到脑子里的。。。弱弱的问一句:小白老师。。。你在哪见过它。。。。。。
