An unventilated corridor, dark and depressing, so gloomy that you will regard it as an archaic grave, burying an ancient mummy, which had slept for millennia and may occur behind you at any time, this was the image in my brain when I first saw my dormitory. It’s not difficult to imagine haw despair I was when noticing that I would have to live in such condition in entire four years.
But when I was accustomed to the new life, especially when I witness the terrible situations my ex-classmate were suffering, gradually I became more and more grateful to what our dormitory could provide: indoor toilet and water heater, electric kettle and all the other convenient facilities, which creates groups of slackers. Although smelly and chaotic like other boys’ dorms, ours is spacious and bright.
