Opening the door of my dormitory and moving forward a few steps on the tidy and white ceramic tile, you will find that it is a girls’ dorm which is quiet, clean and well-organized. The first thing to catch your sight is four neatly arranged desks altogether lying on each side of the room. Imagine you are facing one of our desks. The desk is actually designed as a computer desk. There are two drawers, one of them for keyboard and the other for drawing things. Then you will notice that a bookcase is above the desk while below the desk is a big closet. All these basic elements of a desk are organized well. There is not only a variety of books but also our daily necessities on the bookcase. Above the bookcase is a bed. There is a ladder between every two desks. When you climb up it, an image is shown to you that the quilts are folded in squares and everything is in a clean and tidy condition because we make our beds every morning.
Next to the front door is an area as our bathroom and washing room. Actually, it is very small and just distinguished by a door. When we wash clothes or do other things, it seems very crowded. As soon as you enter this area, you can see that on your right hand, there are two sinks and a mirror on the wall.
This is my dorm which is made up of us four girls from different areas. We live here happily and take it as our family. Even though we have distinctive characters, we are all learning to accept others’ habits. We share happiness and sorrows and take care of each other. It is such a pleasant place which I enjoy living there.
