Passing through a long corridor, stair-stepping from downstairs until you reach the 4th floor, turning right and walking to the first room adjacent to the stairs, there situates my dormitory, which approximately covers an area of 28 square maters.
It is wildly acknowledged that Nanjing is notorious for its unbearable sultriness of summer as well as its freezing rigors of winter, and ironically, my dormitory demonstrates this climatic feature to the full. With windows and doors sitting north, there is barely a glimpse of sunlight shot through the windows, resulting in the gloom of this room. It is surprisingly sweltering in summer as if people staying inside would suffer from suffocation. The chill of the room during winter days is almost capable of freezing the fire-like enthusiasm. When pulling the dark green curtains, I feel like a vampire living in the dense forest.
Energetic and passionate a girl as I am, staying in a room without sunshine all year round more than half day could definitely drive me crazy. In spite of the fact that I am desperate for sunlight, my dorm truly offers me moments’ rest from a day’s busy learning.
There are four girls from different parts of the country living together in this room. Interestingly, the gruesomeness of the dorm does not impede our enjoying life. The painting of a stretch of sunflowers suspending on the back of the front door, which was depicted by my talented roommate, Zhao, adds some warmth and delight to the whole room. We have spared no efforts to decorate our desks with respective characteristics. Zhao, the girl from Yunnan, decorates her desk and bed by hanging all kinds of decorations of Yunnan style. Xia, who is from Shenyang, decorates her place with tons of posters of TVB stars. Yang, a Taizhou girl, adorns with Hangeng’s posters and exquisite plush stuffed toys. And finally, my ornaments are omnigenous scratch paper pasted up on the desk, periphery of the bookshelf, etc. in a word, any margins I can find. And the contents of those notepaper varies from digest of a book I have read recently to some polished and encouraging sentences, as well as something should be done in the following days. Compared with my careful roommates’ desks, mine is obviously in a clutter. But it is okay for me since I can find exactly my stuffs.
This is my room, what about yours?

发现写描述文体好难,半天才憋出这些话~~~ No
