Two thousand years ago, Confucius has already propose the view -- "You Jiao Wu Lei'' ,emphasizing that every citizen enjoys the equal right to accept education.In modern society, however,it is inevitably for people to suffer inequality in their education,which can be reflected from two major aspects,due to Chinese tremendously-unbalanced economic development. For one thing, inequalities exist in education at the very start due to the shortage of teachers, funding and teaching facilities.In fact, a certain number of highly educated professional teachers is the key factor to advance the quality of education.According to a recent survey,the majority of rural primary and secondary schools are experiencing a serious aged tendency of teachers. An aging teacher team may cause outdate problems in education ideas and views, and teaching means.Another serious gap between urban and rural education is related to school conditions.In the light of the report,sixty percent of students at primary school are studying in rural schools,while less than half (40%) the number of computers owned by rural schools and fixed assets of rural education sectors only account for half. In contrast, urban areas can obtain more human, financial and other resources than rural areas regardless of the proportion or the total of national investment, especially in education. And such growing investment gap results in the imbalance of supply and demand of education resources, which directly lead to the backwardness of rural basic education conditions, teachers’ low benefits and enthusiasm and decline of teaching quality. In addition, education corruption aggravates education inequality.
For anther thing, impact on basic education from family environment is mainly expressed by the imbalance of educational values Conditions of family, school and society, as another important factor, result in the differences of education between rural and urban area. Urban households always emphasize children’ comprehensive advancement and tend to invest large. In contrast, rural households’ requirements on children are less and simple because of environment limitations, low level of education cognition and lack of comprehensive education value. Meanwhile, differences of self-expectations affected by family environment between urban and rural students may also influence their future achievement like academic performance and career opportunities. The general characteristics of urban students are confidence, self-expression ability and comprehensive quality, and their expectations to themselves are also higher than rural children’.
In my opinion,it should be clearly noticed that it is high time we took actions to deal with educational inequality . One method is a thorough reform of relevant laws and educational institutions. Another approach is to increase educational investment in order to change the shortage of resources in rural education sectors. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen support of teachers and construction of teaching infrastructure.

另外,我认为与aged相比,aging更能表现出“老化”这一动态现象;
confidence是和self-expression ability相并列的短语,而不是用来修饰后者,所以应该还是confidence;
最后提的第一条建议的确比较宽泛,考虑不周到,应该改为a thorough reform of educational values,这样,既使reform具体化,而且与上文紧密联系起来。
