Me in The Eyes of Other People

We often say like that,"Do not care about how other people say about you, just do what you want to do." But actually we all care about how we look like in the eyes of other people.
Many of my friends told me that when they first meet me, they can only use one word to describe me.It is cool.They said that I seldom smile to strangers and always care about nothing.And always keep others far away from myself.But actually I noticed everything that happened around me.Also I was too nervous to smile to strangers when I meet them and I really want to make friend with them.So to prevent this from happening I think it is very important to know how you are in the eyes of other people.For example,if someone hates you doing something,but you do not know about this and keep on doing like this.I think the relationship between you will change.Even more serious,you will lose one friend and have another enemy.In order to prevent the situation from happening, we need to know how we are in the eyes of others.
How can we get the impression of us from others.The key word is communication.So we need to communicate with parents and friends as we spend most of our times with them.And I think they will tell you the goodness and weakness of you and their impressions of you so you can decide what you need to change.But sometimes,some of them do not tell you the really thought of them.So you need to distinguish what is right and what is wrong.Like some parents love their too much.They always say that their children are the best in the world.Time passed by,when the children grew up, they already have the thought that they are the best.So they can not find the problem in themselves and will lose themselves in their ways to the future.So we should try to find out the real of us in the eyes of others.
Although other people's impressions are very important,we still need to know ourselves in our eyes.With both of them we can find out what we really need to change and what we should keep on.Many people say we can do everything we want to do and ignore others.But in order to do everything well,I think we need to know how we are in the eyes of other people.
