In Martin Luther King's famous speech "I have a dream ", the declaration that "All man are created equal " has definitely aroused the self-esteem and dignity of most majority of people, especially black people. However, inequality has been everywhere existing since humans ruled the world. Education, employment, income and social class, none of these are not related to gender, ethnicity and disability. Actually, these are the reflection of inequality, and above all, education is the most critical one which can cause other unequal aspects.
Firstly, education is extremely essential to one's growth and development. It is acknowledged known that knowledge can change one's fate, but if we couldn't have a good environment for us to receive our education, then it will be impossible for us to learn what should learn. It is said in our College English that in elementary schools, Negroes have already lagged one to three years behind whites, which is indeed detrimental to their development, therefore, how can they compete with those white people fairly in their future. It is almost the same case in China, generally, that those children from rich families perform much better than those from poor families in all-round development. Actually, it is quite understandable, since poor children are doing hard work in fields while rich children are probably practicing their spoken English or piano.
Secondly, the biggest impacts of education are associated with murder, assault, and motor vehicle theft. I haven't realized this existing problem until one day our Japanese teacher described such a seriously current situation to us. She said angrily that she just couldn't understand why those poor parents choose to have three or even more children since it has already impossible for them to give themselves a better life. In such circumstances, the first thing for them is to stuff their stomachs, we can see that these children have no chance to go to school at all, let alone to receive higher education. It is estimated that completing high school reduces the probability of incarceration by about 0.76% for whites and 3.4 % for blacks. Researchers corroborate these findings using FBI data on arrests that distinguish among different types of crimes. They also examine the effect of drop out on self-reported crime in the NLSY and find that their estimates for imprisonment and arrest are caused by changes in criminal behavior and not educational differences in the probability of arrest or incarceration conditional on crime. Overall, they believe that education can reduce crimes.
From what have mentioned above, I can conclude that where there is education, there is inequality. This is a problem that will never be solved, only be reduced. Now that we have such a wonderful opportunity to receive good education in college, then why not make the best use of it? So what we should do now is just to take advantage of this chance to improve ourselves and to perfect ourselves.

It is estimated that finishing high school reduces the probability of incarceration by about 0.76% for whites and 3.4 % for blacks. Researchers corroborate these findings using FBI data on arrests that distinguish among different types of crimes. And these results shows that education really has huge influence on young people's behaviors. And overall, they believe that education can reduce crimes.
