Education Leads to Inequity------------(第三次作业)
Education Leads to Inequity------------(第三次作业)
In our society, there exist many factors ,such as policies issued by governments, public opinions like gender discrimination, and the effects of traditional values, which are likely to lead to inequity. On top of all those, I think, college education is also one of the major factors which contribute to magnifing the social inequity.I have some points of fact to support my opinion:
Firstly, the increasing tuition——People nowadays can deeply get the feeling that in order to receive education, they have to afford more and more payings. However, the increasing tuitions with no doubt will impede students from poor families from continuing their education pursuits. The family members who work for bread are barely able to burden all those high fees.In consequence, comparing to spend a large quantity of money indispensable to keep a living for a whole family on education, those poor students choose to abandon school instead.
Secondly, the poor education conditions——Without enough financial support, students from low-income families can at most go to schools often in poor education conditions. The advanced teaching facilities are by no chance available for the teachers and they have no choice but to rely largely on their handwriting.Likewise, the students are not able to get access to enough learning materials and even desks and chairs sometimes. These poor conditions are absolutely the obstructive elements in their way of pursuing education.By no means can these students catch up with those of one age but from the relatively richer families if they just can’t get exposed to better education conditions.
Thirdly, high requirements of work force——Many jobs are now open merely to people who have college credentials. This is particularly unfair for those poor students, who can squeeze no extra time and money out of them to take tests for various certifications or even to finish their college education.Accordingly, there will be fewer opportunities for them to take on jobs like teachers ,doctors or lawyers which even if they are so keen on becoming since their childhood time.
These poor students have already been living in terrible conditions:shabby clothes, humble food, and insanitary living places.Unfortunately, the higher education magnifies such disadvantages. Our governments have been *** efforts to provide better educational opportunities for these students.Furthermore,as I think of it just far from enough, the officials are really supposed to pay much more attention to the relationship between higher education and social inequity, and take more efficient measures to ensure the students in disadvantage positions a better and more favorable condition to enjoy.

Social inequity still exists extensively in our society. There are many factors, such as policies issued by governments, public opinions like gender discrimination, and the profound effects of traditional values, which are likely to lead to inequity. On top of all those, I think, college education is also one of the major factors which contribute to magnifing the the scale of social inequity.
Firstly, the increasing tuition——People nowadays can deeply get the feeling that in order to receive education, they have to pay much more in comparison to the past. However, the increasing tuitions with no doubt will impede students in poor families from continuing their education pursuits. The family members who work for bread are barely able to burden all those high fees.In consequence, comparing to spend a large quantity of money indispensable to keep a living for a whole family on education, those poor students choose to abandon school instead.
